What the Colombo airport to Colombo drive is like
The Colombo–Katunayake Expressway takes most of the journey, dropping you into the city in roughly 45 minutes outside rush hour. Late-night arrivals are quicker still. Mount Lavinia and Dehiwala add around twenty minutes at the far end.
